Who Am I?

My name is Shawn Swisher (that’s me jamming on Guitar Hero). I became an Internet marketer in 2006 with the goal of earning a little extra income on the side. Despite spending many hours learning about affiliate marketing, search engine optimization, content and traffic, I made nothing for over a year. I was frustrated and felt like I was wasting my time and money. For all those who find themselves in the same situation, I just want to say don’t give up. Keep learning, keep trying and eventually you will begin to see the fruits of your labor. For me, the income is finally starting to come in, and my goal now is to replace my off-line income by January 2009.

I’ve tried lots of ways to make money online and I continue to try new ones on a regular basis. It’s hard to find something that is not a scam, MLM scheme or just useless garbage. When I find something that works and is worth the money, I recommend it so that others wishing to make money online can benefit from my experience. I believe if you achieve success in something, you should pay it forward.

I began using Article Underground in November 2007. To date, I have only published around 30 articles out of the thousands I have received as a member. Instead, I’ve been using AU to build links to various websites of mine, and as you can see from the results page, Article Underground works in getting your pages to the top ten of the search engines.
